As the Technical Product Marketing Manager you will…
  • Engage directly and frequently with Rootly customers to bring the voice of the customer into Rootly’s value propositions and the GTM decision-making process.
  • Craft engaging and clear audience-specific content and messaging, including frameworks, case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, datasheets and whitepapers.
  • Help define and lead the launch process for Rootly product launches.
  • Build go-to-market strategies and develop and manage cross-team marketing campaigns to ensure successful lead generation and funnel progression.
  • Create sales enablement content, playbooks and training, supporting Rootly sellers with compelling stories that both build the business case and differentiate Rootly in the marketplace.
  • Understand and align to market trends, competitive landscapes, and product capabilities.
  • Perform funnel analysis, identify optimization opportunities, and take appropriate action, focusing on analytical iteration development in both a technical and business sense.
  • Work with both technical and non-technical teams to drive delivery.
  • Manage communication with various senior stakeholders.
  • Take an active role in defining the future of the Rootly platform and growth culture.
As the ideal candidate you have…
  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product marketing or similar go-to-market experience in the software industry, marketing and selling to software developers.
  • A clear understanding of developer products, software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, Site Reliability Engineering and SaaS.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing, business, or related area; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality product marketing deliverables and driving alignment across product, marketing and sales.
  • Proven experience being self-directed and working with minimal supervision with the ability to make decisions and adapt quickly to a rapid changing business.
  • Use data to measure results, inform decision making and drive strategy development.
  • Demonstrated success in creating, launching, scaling and maintaining digital products.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, SRE and cloud-native application development.
