Technical ConsultantDescription

IDV Solutions an Everbridge Company is in search of a highly skilled, results-oriented technical resource with IT infrastructure experience and a background in software development and deployment. The Technical Consultant focuses on Software Deployment, and works with customers and technical resources to implement and configure a Web-based software solution in hosted and customers’ on premise IT environments.

What You'll Do

• Work in a team environment to solve problems, manage customer needs, implement configuration, and deploy components for an enterprise level software solution.
• Interact directly with technical and non-technical customer stakeholders while guiding or performing highly-variable configuration to meet their specific requirements.
• Work with the Deployment Manager to ensure processes, process gates, and security practices are followed.
• Work with others in a positive, collaborative manner

Basic Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering Technology, or equivalent/similar (Experience can substitute for degree requirements)
• 3+ years relevant experience, including systems / network administration, software development and/or software implementation
• Microsoft solution stack/tools – key experience in a majority of these:
  • IIS,
  • PowerShell,
  • SQL Server,
  • SharePoint,
  • Service Manager Console 
• “Hands on” technical experience with IT administration, deployment, and the processes around software development
• Demonstrated ability to implement Web-based enterprise-level software solutions to corporate infrastructures
• Expected travel for this position is up to 10%.

Desired Qualifications

• Direct customer technical support experience
• Technical and management experience in the development and/or maintenance of a software product
• Former hands-on development with C# or Java
• Business analysis experience
