Team Lead, Commercial Partnerships, NA Technology Partners
We’re seeking an experienced and driven leader to build and lead our Technology Partnerships team in North America. This senior, high-impact role comes with end-to-end ownership of our most strategic technology partnerships in the region—helping Adyen scale its go-to-market proposition and fuel growth globally. You and your team will partner closely with Product, Sales, Account Management, and other functions to deliver measurable commercial impact.
You thrive in global environments, with a proven ability to collaborate across regions and time zones, while engaging with senior executives both internally and within our partner ecosystem.
What you’ll do
- Define and execute the mid-to-long term (1–3+ year) North America technology partnerships strategy in alignment with Adyen’s global Partnerships vision.
- Lead and develop a senior, high-performing team focused on driving measurable value through strategic partnerships.
- Act as a key member of the North America Partnerships Leadership team, shaping organizational strategy and driving change across our partner model and processes.
- Apply your deep expertise in partnerships to guide decision-making that supports our broader commercial objectives.
- Serve as a senior stakeholder and trusted advisor—shaping the payment and growth strategies of our most strategic technology partners.
- Recruit, cultivate, and scale partnerships that unlock new markets, sectors, and revenue opportunities.
- Drive a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities and partner-led referrals across priority industries.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Strategy and Sales to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Inspire, coach, and empower team members while fostering creativity, autonomy, and accountability.
- Build an open, collaborative team culture rooted in feedback, trust, and high performance.
- 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or related fields—preferably in Payments, Big Tech, or FinTech - with a proven record of scaling executive-level enterprise relationships.
- Experience leading partnerships within North America while collaborating effectively with global teams.
- A proven commercial leader who combines strategic vision with a strong execution mindset.
- Comfortable owning commercial outcomes, with a track record of creating measurable business impact.
- Strong communicator and influencer with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders across diverse organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience motivating senior teams and driving organizational change.
- Technically curious, with the ability to bridge commercial and technical conversations.
- Flexible and open to occasional collaboration outside standard business hours to coordinate with global colleagues.

- Based out of our San Francisco office (hybrid, 3 days per week in-office)
- Some domestic and international travel required
The annual base salary range for this role is $220,000 - 240,000, plus bonus and RSUs; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.
