We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Adoption Sr 2 Engineer to guide and inspire our team. In this role, you will drive and ensure the adoption of changes in technologies and processes across our engineering teams to support a constantly evolving business environment and strategic direction. 

As a Sr 2 Solution Adoption Engineer, you will conduct impact analyses to understand the effects of proposed technology and process changes on various departments and stakeholders. You will assess the readiness of the engineering teams for change and identify key stakeholders who will be instrumental in the change process. Your ability to collaborate with project teams will be crucial in integrating change management activities into overall project plans, ensuring seamless execution.

You will design and deliver engaging training programs and workshops to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to embrace change. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these initiatives will be a key part of your role, allowing you to make data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive technical workflow integration and facilitate adoption of new technology or processes that align with our Engineering Excellence goals and objectives.

In addition, you will provide hands-on coaching and support to managers and employees, helping them navigate the complexities of change. Effective communication will be essential as you articulate change initiatives and progress to all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of transparency and trust.

Overall, as a Sr 2 Solution Adoption Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Pacific Life engineering community can adopt changes efficiently and effectively, driving continuous improvement and long-term success

How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Assess potential effects and impact of proposed changes on engineering teams and stakeholders. Identify and document areas of impact and ensure that all aspects are considered
  • Create comprehensive adoption plans that align with project and engineering goals and impact analysis
  • Perform adoption readiness assessments on team(s), identify gaps and incorporate plans to address them. 
  • Proactively identify potential risks and resistance to change. Collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies to address and manage these risks
  • Build automation and tooling to :
    • Facilitate migration of data, configurations to support migration process and enhance user experience
    • Collecting adoption metrics, feedback for trend analysis
    • Dashboard and trend analysis for adoption and user experience enhancement
    • Automate processes for future onboarding
  • Build technical training material and deliver training as needed to ensure that successful adoption
  • Provide feedback to builder(s) team for product and platform enhancements
  • Track enhancement requests and delivery to ensure that enhancements are prioritized and delivered
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Provide post deployment training to operational support team for business-as-usual support

The experience you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in managing and implementing changes for software engineering products and projects.
  • Hands-on and fluent experience with a range of technologies such as Git, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, SonarQube or similar tooling.
  • Intermediate to advanced development experience in at least 1 modern language including but not limited to Python, JavaScript/React framework, Golang
  • Understand secure software development lifecycle and able to integrate change management activities within the SDLC framework to ensure smooth transition in software development projects
  • Experience in implementing and executing IT implementation of processes for platform or infrastructure including system upgrade, software implementation and/or infrastructure migration
  • Strong experience in assessing and mitigates risk associated with IT major system changes to minimize disruption to business operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build consensus across different teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.
  • A systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communications skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
  • Ability to communicate effectively vertically and horizontally within the organization
  • Ability to adapt to and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure all aspects of change are managed effectively

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$134,280.00 - $164,120.00
