Nextbite Brand Development Business Intelligence-Data Analyst

-Organizes data in a digestible way, allowing for optimal tracking and interpretation of consumer demand, competition, brand resonance, trend inputs, FP feedback and metrics in a thoughtful, analytical and innovative way

-Utilizes data to pinpoint trends, allowing the team to identify any development, operational or marketing issue affecting order volume - and correct before the brand is affected overall

--Create a better understanding of our FPs and how we identify new opportunities for growth

Create a better understanding of our own Nextbite revenue and strategic goals for growth 

The impact you will have:

  • Analyze proprietary data, identify trends related to marketing, revenue, operations, brand development and food experience
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of Ordermark as it pertains to Brand Development
  • Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
  • Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies to brand development team
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. 
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement 
  • Lead and perform design of data collection experiments to uncover deep insights that inform brand development success
  • Track data on our brand competitors in the ghost/VK and dark kitchen marketplace
  • Review data on order volume, identifying trends in basket size, demographics, location
  • Improve department reporting procedures, creating, updating and optimizing existing dashboards
  • Develop additional dashboards and reporting procedures as needed
  • Drive the analytical process of the brand development team and create a data culture within it

What you bring to the role:

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics or 7+ years of proven experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Understanding of business intelligence software
  • Experience and understanding of Salesforce
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams
