The primary role of the Special Projects Account Manager is to support, develop, launch and manage new and existing Chef’d fulfillment opportunities and relationships. This person must be highly organized and data driven with a strong business sense and an ability to understand a variety of deal structures. They will need to work with clients and Chef'd departments to design program parameters and execute deliverables for launch. They will need to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. They will do market analysis involving thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services Chef’d can provide, and insights into our competitors. This position will get to work with incredible food & tech related partnerships and explore innovative new business opportunities as our portion of the food eCommerce segment rapidly evolves. Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and execute special projects and white label fulfillment opportunities
  • Manage new and existing fulfillment partner accounts
  • Assist in structuring complex business deals
  • Competently identify and qualify opportunities
  • Effectively communicate Chef’d’s core capabilities, services and differentiators
  • Work with management and key personnel on strategy for leveraging account success
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal teams to support business deals

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years in sales, account management, or marketing
  • Knowledge and experience working within ecommerce fulfillment, supply chain, and operations preferred.
  • Ability to articulate Chef'd messaging and proposals via email, in person, and final proposal forms
  • Ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships
  • A demonstrated record of success in a solutions-oriented, innovative, creative professional services environment; start-up environment experience a strong plus
  • Ability to make decisions, such as prioritizing relationships to develop, negotiating with clients (external and internal), and overcoming obstacles with minimal supervision
  • Understand cross-industry opportunities
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
