Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]

Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, Technology Specialist, or in a related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Designing, developing and supporting Data Warehouse and Data Management solutions, ETL, SQL, Debugging, Unit testing, User Acceptance testing, and Performance Tuning; Application Architecture Disciplines, Data Architecture Disciplines, and Agile SDLC; Linux, Unix, and Windows; Apache Spark, Java, and Jquery; Oracle, Teradata, Cassandra, DB2, HIVE, and SQL Server; Erwin; AWS Cloud Services; Hortonworks Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, and Sqoop; Informatica 9.1, and Alteryx; Unix shell scripting, SQL, T-SQL, Python, XML, and JSON; Splunk, and Dynatrace; Control-M; Tableau; and GIT, Idea, and eclipse.
