The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, Full Stack Developer to join our SEO team. The ideal candidate should live and breathe code with a desire to stretch his/her abilities, work with a team, and eventually grow within the department and company.

You Will Be

• Assisting with the optimization of our clients’ websites
• Working in both front-end and back-end environments, with exposure to multiple platforms
• Implementing server side redirects in Apache and IIS
• Employing recommendations from Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool (minifying JS/CSS/HTML, leveraging browser caching, etc)
• Creating dynamic JS functions to solve SEO problems
• Utilizing Google Tag Manager to publish SEO optimizations and tracking solutions
• Updating various header tags, such as hreflang, rel alternates, OG tags, etc
• Migrating websites to HTTPS
• Coding and rolling out AMP page templates
• Administering mobile UX recommendations such as, configuring viewports, sizing tap targets, etc
• Supporting minor client bug fixes for design implementations
• Relaying technical information and instructions to client side developers
• Developing interactive, engaging content in conjunction with our Content Marketing team

You Must Have

• 3+ years of experience developing websites and/or continuous development contributions to a single platform or website
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
• Proficient knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Data Layer pushes
• Expert knowledge of responsive design techniques and best practices for mobile/touch devices
• Well versed in Wordpress, Drupal, Expression, Shopify, Magento, and other CMS platforms
• Expert knowledge pf .htaccess and web.config (Apache and IIS)
• Ability to debug cross-browser nuances in staging and production
• Strong knowledge of FTP
• Stellar written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
• Knowledge of SEO specific tools like Screaming Frog
• Proficiency in Regex syntax and patterns
• Familiarity with slicing designs for websites a plus
