Reports to: Vice President, Recruiting
Location: Remote US
Compensation Range: $130,000 to $150,000 base plus bonus and equity
What We Do:
Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.
We protect 4M+ endpoints and 7M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.
What You’ll Do:
Huntress is looking to add a Senior Technical Recruiter to our team, who will help to execute our talent strategy and hire top talent as we continue to grow. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting the growth of our engineering and product teams, as well as other key areas of our business.
You should be a passionate recruiter, dedicated to building strong stakeholder relationships, discovering innovative ways to drive success, while maintaining a candidate-centric process. We’re looking for someone with experience in full-lifecycle, technical recruiting who is comfortable leading searches from early career to experienced executive levels.
About You:
You take deep personal ownership of every hiring goal, moving past activity metrics to focus on delivering measurable impact, such as quickly filling critical engineering roles with the best people to directly advance the Huntress mission.
You build trust and psychological safety with candidates and hiring managers through transparency and integrity, giving and receiving honest, direct feedback about the process and talent pipeline because that's how we find our next great teammates and win as a company.
You are resilient when facing tough-to-fill roles, managing the chaos of a dynamic talent landscape with clarity and an unshakeable belief that you'll prevail in landing top-tier engineering and product talent.
You'll use your sharp judgment to quickly assess candidates from interviews and application reviews, but you're also AI-curious—you've already been trying out AI and other innovative tools in your workflow for candidate outreach, scheduling, and screening. You will help us continuously improve by sharing feedback on our interview process and hiring practices. Ultimately, you'll be the expert who helps us scale our technical teams the right way, hiring passionate, purpose-driven prodigies.
Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit candidates using a variety of innovative methods, including industry groups and underrepresented talent communities
- Be a dedicated business partner to hiring managers and teams by assisting them through structured interview processes
- Screen candidate resumes and conduct interviews to assess relevant knowledge, experience, aptitudes, and compensation alignment

What You Bring To The Team:
- Extensive experience as a full-cycle recruiter hiring for a variety of technical roles, including software engineers, design, product, IT, security, and leadership roles
- Experience hiring within growing SaaS companies with a high bar for technical talent
- Experience with scheduling and video interviews, as well as technical candidate screening and evaluation
- Comfortable owning several requisitions at one time
- Experience sourcing, evaluating, and hiring Ruby on Rails engineers
- Familiarity with modern ATS tools, preferably Greenhouse
- Experience leading Diversity & Inclusion initiatives in the tech community
- Demonstrated experience recruiting challenging engineering and product management roles
- Experience recruiting within the cybersecurity industry is preferred
What We Offer:
- 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
- Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
- 12 weeks of paid parental leave
- Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
