Product and Design: Our Product and Design teams are helping to create a seamless user experience across various platforms to provide the most trusted services and delightful experiences for grading, protecting, managing, buying, selling, and sharing collectibles. Our grading operation processes millions of collectibles a year and serves as a research hub for collectors across collectible categories. By leading the standards in the collectibles industry, we have earned customer trust that we can leverage across our expanding product offerings such as Vault,

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager  who is practical, ambitious, and empathetic. We value people who can quickly obtain a deep understanding of new domains, and who can be scrappy and innovative in approaching program planning, milestone setting, and driving toward optimal outcomes. You’ll drive strategic, complex projects from inception to delivery, ensuring our teams are well positioned to track against their milestones and budgets. You’ll partner with engineering, design, and product counterparts to bring transparency and excitement to the deliverables and be an integral part of our teams as we work to create delightful experiences for our customers, both internal to Collectors and externally. 

You’ll work from our Santa Ana or Jersey City office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaboratively partner with other teams (Engineering, Design, Product, Business stakeholders, etc.)  in the product development lifecycle to shape and prioritize product plans that solve customer problems in ways that deliver on company goals
  • Focus on the most mission critical, high priority initiatives with a focus on business and technology objectives
  • Provide best-in-class communications about project inception, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders
  • Develop  and run training and educational programs to help transform organizational practices.
  • Design and share processes and documents that provide maximum autonomy for development teams while maintaining a level of standardization that allows the company to scale.
  • Combine superior communication skills with the analytical horsepower to break down complex, ambiguous problems and possess a strong will to be resourceful and get stuff done
  • Solve problems with a focus on automation and process improvement, creating efficiencies as you work
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap prioritization processes with key stakeholders and deliver success management with multiple stakeholders
  • Support our developer operations environment so we can continue to create new businesses and migrate existing ones, scaling our businesses across the globe to new heights
  • Understand the customer and advocate for them

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of product management and/or technical program management experience in a modern product or engineering organization operating in an agile environment.
  • Expert understanding of the software development lifecycle in relation to agile best practices
    • Scaled Agile experience is a bonus
  • Experienced with leading Agile/Scrum methodologies as well as working with and configuring Jira or other work management softwares
  • Depth in experience of technical program management practices including coordinating dependencies across teams, reporting on milestones, outcomes, and blockers, and leading successful releases/deployments across complex initiatives
  • Passion for rallying teams around shared goals and finding and exploiting new ways to increase efficiency 
  • Ability to excel and deliver clear impact despite competing priorities and ambiguity
  • Focused on delivering value for customers 
  • Desire to develop and implement new strategies at an organizational level

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $139,752 -  $171,462. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
