Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Lansweeper, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative solutions that enhance our IT asset management platform. You'll work within a collaborative, cross-functional team to build scalable, secure, and high-performing features that deliver value to our global customer base. Your contributions will help drive Lansweeper's mission to provide actionable insights through powerful asset discovery and data intelligence. I have a

• Computer science degree or higher and/or +5 years of relevant experience
• Proven track record of systems programming in C, C++, or Rust
• Proven track record of backend software development
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge of networks and the underlying hardware infrastructure
• Strong grasp of the English language

Going for gold?

• Extensive experience with Rust
• Experience in web services and/or API development
• Familiar with Parquet, ClickHouse, DuckDB
• Experience with database design
• Knowledge about Google protocol buffers, gRPC, AVRO, JSON
• Familiar with Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, AWS, GCP, Azure
• Experience with some of the tools we use (GitHub, CircleCI, Jira, Confluence)
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and/or LLM architectures

This role may include participation in our on-call duty system, which means being available outside regular hours to respond to urgent technical incidents. On-call weeks are planned in advance, and we offer a base allowance plus potential overtime compensation. You would need to respond within 30 minutes and be reachable by laptop, phone, or email when on call.
