The Finance team at Doximity is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to play a pivotal role in the preparation and continuous improvement of the Company’s external financial reporting. You will also assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, assist with accounting for complex accounting transactions, execution of internal controls over financial reporting, and provide external audit support.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead the preparation of SEC filings (i.e. 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings) including the preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures, relevant disclosure checklists, maintaining supporting schedules and documentation, and assisting with the review of XBRL tagging
  • Roll forward, format, and maintain SEC filings within our cloud-based SEC reporting platform
  • Own the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings, including tie-outs
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations including stock-based compensation, investments, and other technical accounting areas
  • Perform industry disclosure benchmark analysis, develop and prepare recommendations
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting operations
  • Recommend and support process improvements to standardize and streamline processes, including leveraging Alteryx, Domo, AI initiatives, and automation tools
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements by maintaining and documenting internal controls over financial reporting and other key business processes
  • Assist in the management of the audit / quarterly review and PBC request process
  • Assist in special projects, such as ad hoc analyses and other duties as appropriate

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2+ years of public accounting experience in a Big 4 firm;
  • Excellent communicator with superb written and oral communication skills, and ability to partner cross-functionally;
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and SEC reporting regulations;
  • Detail oriented while being able to consider the big picture
  • Quick learner with the ability to multitask, work independently, think critically and problem solve
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing strategies to enhance the financial reporting process
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Enthusiasm for learning new IT systems and automation tools

Compensation

The US total compensation range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $120,000 (inclusive of salary + equity). Our ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, experience, and education/training. Please note that the compensation listed does not include benefits.
