Connor Group is a specialized professional services firm of Big 4 alumni, and industry executives and technology architects. Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most complex business needs, including Accounting Advisory, Digital Solutions, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Managed Services. 

Responsible for tracking and driving the allocation of resources for over 100 employees in a complex organization. Frequent interaction with partners on important business decisions. Critical contributor to the development of professionals by matching skills with project needs. Key touchpoint throughout the organization at all levels and a source of positive energy.  Other Responsibilities include:

  • Driving scheduling process
  • Consistent coordination of resources with the leadership team and national scheduling organization
  • Proposing project teams by matching availability and employee skillsets to appropriate projects
  • Weekly monitoring and follow up on unassigned resources
  • Proactive and frequent communication with Partner team
  • Time off approvals and monitoring
  • Monitor team utilization
  • Cross Service Line coordination
  • Escalating issues appropriately to National Scheduling

Partner/Director Resource Coordination    

  • Building PowerPoint deck for weekly leadership call
  • Active participation in weekly leadership calls, capturing notes and reflecting resulting changes in OpenAir scheduling system
  • Weekly 1:1 Partner meetings
  • Follow-up on outstanding resource requests
  • Assignments for unassigned resources

Resource Allocation  

  • Working as part of a national scheduling organization to drive utilization and help meet client needs firmwide
  • Assist in driving maintenance of skills database and updated bios for all employees
  • Develop career skills of our professionals by putting them on projects that match current skills or to increase knowledge and broaden skillsets
  • Stay connected to the team to understand desired experiences

Metrics & Analytics   

  • Weekly and monthly reports and analysis to Partner team to assist in driving business decisions
  • Identify new analysis needed as business needs change
  • Ensure accuracy of data in OpenAir scheduling system
  • Work with Finance and IT teams to automate Tableau reports, as needed

Qualifications / Skills 

  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Specific Excel skills desired include ability to work with pivot tables, large data sets, and reporting at a management level
  • Workday experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, proactively planning, and resourcefulness
  • Able to maintain accurate reporting in a dynamic environment
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and responsible
  • Able and willing to learn and apply new technology and concepts
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and diplomacy skills.  
  • Positive energy and a great attitude
  • Extremely professional, personable, friendly, and an overall team player
  • 3+ years prior relevant experience required
  • College degree or equivalent (GPA 3.0 or above)
