Obagi is seeking results-driven, innovative, and charismatic Senior Sales Director for Strategic Accounts to create, scale, and lead a field based strategic and key accounts team to drive profitable revenue growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Lead the creation and implementation of tailored sales strategies for high-value strategic accounts in the aesthetic and dermatology sectors, focusing on Obagi Medical's skincare portfolio and innovative dermal filler products to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
- Manage Strategic Account Relationships: Cultivate and nurture long-term partnerships with key clients, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medspas, and aesthetic clinics, by identifying needs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction to maximize account retention and expansion.
- Drive Revenue and Performance Targets: Achieve or exceed annual sales quotas for strategic accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, such as bundling skincare regimens with dermal filler treatments, while forecasting and reporting on pipeline health and revenue projections.
- Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Oversee a team of account executives and representatives, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development to build a high-performing sales organization capable of delivering consistent results in a competitive market.
- Conduct Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback in the skincare and injectable aesthetics space to inform strategic decisions, product positioning, and pricing strategies that differentiate Obagi Medical's offerings.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, product development, and clinical education teams to align sales initiatives with brand goals, launch new dermal filler products effectively, and develop educational resources that support sales efforts and enhance provider expertise.
- Ensure Compliance and Best Practices: Maintain adherence to FDA regulations, industry standards, and ethical sales practices in all account interactions, while promoting safe and effective use of Obagi Medical products to build trust and mitigate risks.
- Analyze Sales Data and Optimize Processes: Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track key performance indicators, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability for strategic account management.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required with a focus in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Change Management, or related field.
- At least 15+ years of commercial experience in the beauty/aesthetics space at the senior leadership level with demonstrated success in driving sustainable, profitable growth.
- Experience leading sales teams, working with internal marketing teams, demonstrated sales success, and a vision for where the industry is going.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.
- An energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional development of others.
