Meet Upside:

We created Upside to transform brick-and-mortar commerce. Our technology uses the sophistication of online retail—profit measurement, attribution, and incrementality—to provide users with more value on their everyday purchases and brick-and-mortar businesses with new, profitable customers. We’ve helped millions of users earn 2 to 3 times more cashback than any other product, and hundreds of thousands of brick-and-mortar businesses earn measurable profit. Billions of dollars in commerce run through the Upside platform every year, and that value goes directly back to our retailer partners, the consumers they serve, and important sustainability initiatives.

The Impact You'll Make:

As the Senior Revenue Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for providing analytics and insights to our GTM teams and their partners, including B2B Partnerships, B2B Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Enablement, Finance, and HR. You will report into the Manager, Revenue Analytics, with dotted-line responsibilities tied to our Incentive Compensation Principal and our Revenue Operations Principal.

  • Own analytical support and act as the “first line of defense” for reporting needs for various functional areas, such as Partnerships, SMB and Enablement.

  • Maintain, update, and develop dashboards in Looker and Salesforce to facilitate the day-to-day activities of customer-facing teams. For example, tracking our meeting-to-opportunity conversion ratio and establishing benchmarks for weekly meeting volume per salesperson.

  • Use data analysis and storytelling to generate actionable insights for our customer-facing teams. Develop relationships with customer-facing team members to better anticipate their needs.

  • Provide pre-sales account performance estimates for the Restaurant and Grocery verticals, managing requests in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Analyze funnel performance, sales productivity, and pipeline health to identify opportunities to improve revenue organization efficiency and inform strategic decisions.

  • Contribute to the evolution of our forecasting models, to increase their ease of use, sophistication, and accuracy.

  • Support annual and quarterly planning efforts for the RGTM org as needed, especially providing reports that help sales and accounts managers design their books of business equitably.

  • Partner with the Rev Ops team to design processes and data capture that deliver the analytics needed with Salesforce and in other BI tools, deriving from Salesforce data.

  • Contribute to the direction of the Revenue Analytics function by helping define core metrics, analytical priorities, and scalable reporting frameworks.

  • Strong business intuition and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leadership

  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with experience partnering with cross-functional B2B go-to-market teams to inform key business decisions

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
