Consider joining our global Commercial Excellence team in the CAD division as a Sr. Project Manager, leading to customer-focused solutions. Fully remote role reporting to the Director, Global Commercial Operations.

Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager will orchestrate and supervise all components of complex projects, guaranteeing timely and efficient outcomes. This position calls for a proactive problem solver with effective leadership skills and a well-established history in project management and proposal development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in leading all aspects of cross-functional teams, outstanding communication proficiencies, and the interest in driving project achievements through meticulous planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and run multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate all phases of the project lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, prioritization of resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
  • Collaborate with senior management and other key collaborators by providing regular status updates and reports.
  • Develop a collaborative team environment, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Support and cultivate junior project managers and team members, granting support and opportunities for career development.
Qualifications:

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in project management.
  • Preferred: Experienced in coordinating government bid lifecycles, handling tender projects, and drafting proposals for RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes
  • Preferred: Understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Preferred: Certifications in Project Management such as PMP or a comparable certification.
  • Preferred: Certifications in Proposal Management (such as APMP, CPBP, or similar).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Technical Skills: Expert in a variety of project management tools and software.
  • Deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies and can tailor approaches to specific projects.
  • Project Scope: Leads large, complex projects or multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinates all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Communicates optimally with all levels of the organization, including executives and external collaborators.
  • Communication: Strong skills in collaborator management and negotiation.
  • Leadership and Decision-Making: Provides strategic direction and leadership to project teams.
  • Takes charge of significant choices and supports junior project managers in their development.
  • Risk Management: Advanced skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and developing comprehensive risk management plans.
  • Problem-Solving: Solves complex problems and implements solutions with a long-term perspective.
  • Applies experience to anticipate potential issues and proactively addresses them.
