What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for RiskScores and its supporting components.

Customer-Centric Innovation

  • Deeply understand client needs by working closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Support.

  • Advocate for scalable, user-friendly tools that anticipate customer challenges and reduce complexity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to build robust, accurate fraud detection features.

  • Coordinate with Go-to-Market teams to develop compelling messaging and enablement strategies.
Ensure regulatory compliance by aligning with legal and privacy teams on product standards.

Market & Performance Insights

  • Monitor performance metrics to optimize product effectiveness and user experience.
Stay ahead of competitors and industry trends to ensure Socure’s leadership in identity fraud prevention.

What You’ll Bring
  • 5–7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in fraud prevention, identity verification, or data-driven B2B platforms.
Proven track record of delivering API and ML/AI-powered products to market.

  • Experience with predictive analytics, data lifecycle optimization, or model feedback loops.
Strategic thinker with the ability to build and execute long-term roadmaps.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfort working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

  • Ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in fast-paced environments, and highly proactive.

Preferred
  • Familiarity with identity fraud data, graph-based fraud tools, or feedback loops for model training.

  • Experience serving clients in financial services, fintech, or the public sector.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or technical field) and a passion for user-centric, scalable product design.

  • 5+ years of experience building self-service platforms for both external customers and internal product teams.

  • Located on the East Coast to better align with product and GTM stakeholders. If not you’ll need to work east coast hours.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
