Role Overview

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead our Marketplace – a growing hub of financial deals, offers, and opportunities designed to help Americans living paycheck to paycheck stretch every dollar further. This is a high-impact role for someone who’s equal parts creative and analytical, with a relentless drive to uncover the next incremental dollar for our users and our business.

You’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and performance of our financial deals and offers ecosystem, which includes the consumer experience; underlying offer-serving technology; and partner tools. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, and partnerships to identify, test, and scale new opportunities that create tangible savings and income for our users. If you love running rapid A/B tests, working closely with data, and finding the next growth lever, this is the role for you.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for our financial deals and offers Marketplace, from discovery to launch to optimization

  • Drive measurable business impact through new and optimized Marketplace features that put money back in users’ pockets

  • Define and track Marketplace product metrics and user behaviors that correlate with revenue outcomes

  • Collaborate with our Data Analyst to uncover insights, design experiments, and track performance

  • Partner closely with our Partnerships Manager to understand the partner end user, integrating and scaling offers that align with our mission and deliver real value to consumers

  • Prioritize ruthlessly based on data, user value, and ROI

  • Build, execute, and learn quickly through rapid A/B testing, user feedback, and iterative improvements

  • Communicate results and learnings clearly to stakeholders and leadership

What you'll bring

  • 5–8+ years of product management experience, ideally in marketplaces or user monetization

  • A deep understanding of A/B testing, funnel optimization, and data-driven decision making

  • A bias for action: You thrive in fast-paced, scrappy environments and know how to get things done

  • Experience working cross-functionally with analytics, engineering, design, and business development

  • A growth mindset and obsession with driving measurable outcomes

  • Passion for our mission: Helping Americans build financial stability and resilience

Nice to have

  • Experience with affiliate networks, ad technology, or deal aggregation platforms

  • Prior work in a high-growth fintech or marketplace environment

  • Comfort with SQL or data exploration tools

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
