About The Job

As a Senior Product Designer at LiveControl, you will help pioneer the future of remote video production, live streaming distribution, and innovate how virtual events become a more integral part of our lives. You will be responsible for designing the production tools that we use to monitor thousands of productions and the dashboards our videographers use to understand client's needs to provide amazing videography in real time. 

As a senior contributor on the Design Team, you will be instrumental in determining how LiveControl polishes and scales the operation of multi-camera cinematography for thousands of virtual events, on a weekly basis across the country. You will have to constantly distill complex capabilities into intelligible and intuitive interfaces. This role will be building complex dashboards that distill real time data into action-oriented, easy-to-understand user interfaces. You will also be creating ways to integrate those dashboards with event management and remote camera and production software contributing meaningfully to technical and operational improvements.

What you'll do:

• Pioneer new ways to schedule, manage, and monitor thousands of concurrent streams from live video productions across the country
• Partner closely with the Product and Engineering teams to design, launch, and optimize products that will help our customers create and manage the production and distribution of their live video
• Own end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing and through production
• Work cross-functionally across the company to represent the Design team, with significant contribution to roadmapping, planning, and prioritization
• Create a design system for LiveControl to leverage into the future
• Interact with customers and videographers to understand their core challenges and opportunities
• Develop perspectives, communicate them clearly, hold them loosely
• Help establish and shape the culture of our growing design team
