Amentum is seeking a Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Analyst to manage and coordinate the logistics, procurement, and inventory management activities in support of ex-USN, ex-USCG and US supplied systems to multiple countries. This role is part of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 326 Follow-On Technical Support (FOTS) contract. As the Senior ILS Analyst, you will oversee, coordinate, and manage freight, supply, and operational logistics to maximize efficiency. You will evaluate and identify methods and procedures to optimize and streamline operational processes. You will track and monitor supply and delivery data; and perform data analysis to identify trends and maximize efficiency opportunities. As the Senior ILS Analyst, you will be responsible for executing all logistics and supply chain administrative and reporting activities necessary to successfully support this project, such as receipt, inventory, retention, disposition, and shipping of previously used shipboard material.
This is a full-time, remote role. Some onsite travel will be required to support the client and Project Management Office (PMO). Onsite work will be performed at the PMO Headquarters in Washington, DC or Amentum offices in Fredericksburg or Norfolk, VA with CONUS and OCONUS travel permitted per the client’s needs.
Compensation
The annual starting salary rate for this position is between $80,000-$90,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Essential responsibilities and daily duties will include:
Provide comprehensive ILS administrative support for all material procurements, warehouse operations, inventories, procurement status, and shipping performed under the contract to accomplish material and system readiness.
Support Inventory Planning and Management, Supply Support, Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T), and OCONUS Shipping Support.
Oversee all international logistics support activities including shipping and compliance with customs regulations.
Develop and maintain itemized lists of required parts and materials for existing material and incoming inventory.
Develop specialized reports tailored to various stakeholders will need to be developed and submitted on a recurring basis.
Liaison with internal stakeholders, logistics, shipyard managers and shops, and project personnel to report status of logistics, maintenance, facilities, and/or operational solutions to specific issues encountered.
Assist ILS Program Manager and other Project Leads with other ILS tasks as required.
Input, track, review, and report status of Government/Contractor Furnished Equipment (GFE/CFE), material, and equipment configuration data.
Provide material support, forecasting, disposal recommendations, and disposal processing.
Research supply chain issues to identify potential problems and preemptively address them.
Minimum Requirements:
6 years of experience in logistics planning and execution activities supporting a naval surface, defense logistics, or undersea program/project office (i.e., NAVSEA, NSWC, planning yards, DLA, etc.) to include experience in warehouse/logistics planning, supply support, packing/handling/transportation, and training.
Active Forklift License.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to obtain an active US Passport. Ability to travel CONUS AND OCONUS, as required.
Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, as needed.
Ability to obtain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
8 years of logistics, ILS, or material handling experience.
United States Navy (NAVSEA) contracting experience.
Experience supporting efforts with shipboard installations, ship availability planning, shipyard work, or major warfare centers.
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience.
