In this role, you will be critical partner for the Business Line Business Control team. You will add value by providing timely historical and forward-looking financial plans and insights to enable high quality decision making. You will deliver world-class results by improving Business Line performance management processes and performing high quality analysis.

Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.

Role and responsibilities

You are responsible for providing meaningful business information to the Business Line, to enable the business to support decision making and realizing Business Line deliverables in time and within financial constraints.

  • Take a pro-active role in preparing and managing the Business Line long-term financial plan, global annual budget cycle and monthly financial reviews, ensuring high quality planning information in terms of relevance, content, accuracy and timeliness.

  • Identify, communicate and monitor financial risks and opportunities, and to translate those - in close cooperation with Business Line controllers – into executable actions with aim to improve business performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement through initiating and executing changes together with subject matter experts involved in the processes which enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of financial planning information, tools, processes, analysis and organization.

  • Support building and reviewing business cases to enable high quality decision making within the Business Line.

Education and experiance

  • Master’s degree Finance / Accounting or MBA preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance/Accounting) with 5 years of applicable experience will be considered

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a FP&A environment.

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a FP&A environment with exposure to the full P&L including standard cost, revenue recognition and R&D management.

  • Experience in a multi-national, high technology company and proven track record of quickly understanding complex content.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders;

  • Maintain personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change and uncertainty;

  • Ability to guide and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the process maturity level of the finance organization;

  • Team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently;

  • Owns quality and is guided by awareness of customer impact.

  • Hands on / getting things done with pro-active drive for improvement

Travel

  • May require travel dependent on business needs.

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$120,000-200,000

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
