The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join the Finance Shared Services - Government Estimating Center of Expertise team in Long Beach, CA, San Antonio, TX or Mesa, AZ.
As an Estimating and Pricing Specialist for the C-17 platform, you will be responsible for development of Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant cost/price estimates in support of U.S. government proposals.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of proactively managing competing assignments, excels in cross-functional coordination and communication, and delivers high quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead estimating efforts on complex proposals and support proposal development, negotiations, and establishing the contract baseline
- Lead and produce compliant, well-documented labor Basis of Estimates (BOEs) using data-driven methods and multiple estimating techniques
- Price all cost elements: labor, material, and Interorganizational Work Transactions (IWTs)
- Prepare and support the cost volume for proposals
- Coordinate across proposal teams (engineering, finance, contracts, program management) during fact-finding, proposal writing, and negotiations
- Maintain traceable, auditable documentation that meets TINA and company requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Estimating, Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
- 5+ years of experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) requirements compliant proposals
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Engineering, or a related field)
- 5+ years of experience presenting to government customers and technical teams
- Estimating experience in a government contracting environment
- Experience developing and analyzing forecasts
- Proven understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Experience working with cross functional leadership
