We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help us build and scale data systems that process petabytes of data to provide important insights to our teams. In this role, you'll be on a team that manages the entire ETL & data warehousing process, making it easier for data scientists, analysts, and engineers to use data and drive value. You'll also mentor team members, and your work will have a direct impact on millions of users around the world.
In particular, you will:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for the site to operate.
• Ingest and maintain data assets.
• Design, build, and launch new data models in production using DBT.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and key product stakeholders to define the best data solutions.
• Build data platforms for analysts and product managers to use and get data insights.

Requirements
What you'll bring

• BS degree in STEM
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for building data pipelines
• Experience with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.) and transform tools (DBT, SQLMesh)
• Experience mentoring and leading other data engineers and analysts
• You have worked with cloud providers like AWS or GCP

Bonus points:

• Knowledge of data governance best practices
• Experience with DBT and data modeling

The Base Salary range for this position is $165,000 to $180,000 USD. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
