Team: Enterprise Sales – AI & Technology
Vantor is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive, AI Tech to expand our presence within the world’s leading technology innovators. This role operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence, mapping, and geospatial innovation — positioning Vantor’s data as the definitive real-world foundation for AI models, generative platforms, and next-generation computing systems. You won’t just be selling imagery — you’ll be selling the ability for AI to understand, predict, and recreate the world in extraordinary detail.
This is a highly strategic role for a creative, technically fluent professional who can build relationships with AI researchers, product managers, and executives driving the future of intelligent systems. You’ll pioneer new use cases for geospatial data across search, mobility, computer vision, and immersive experiences — shaping how AI technologies perceive and interact with the planet.
This role will be a 50/50 split of new and existing business and is eligible to work remotely in the U.S. (West Coast location preferred).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead strategic expansion into AI tech, embedding Vantor’s spatial data into AI, mapping, and spatial computing initiatives.
- Position Vantor’s imagery and GIS solutions as essential for training and validating foundational models, large language models (LLMs), and generative AI systems.
- Collaborate with AI and product teams to design real-world applications — from digital twins and autonomous systems to immersive AR/VR experiences and intelligent search.
- Develop and execute enterprise sales strategies to drive revenue growth within these flagship accounts and expand into adjacent AI technology partners.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex geospatial capabilities into AI-relevant outcomes for data science, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Structure and negotiate multimillion-dollar partnerships for data access, API integration, and long-term collaboration.
- Showcase AI-powered insights, demonstrating how geospatially aware AI can monitor change, improve prediction, and generate new spatial intelligence.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to influence product direction and ensure our offerings align with the evolving needs of major AI ecosystems.
- Apply disciplined sales methodology (MEDDPICC) and manage account performance, forecasting, and pipeline health using Salesforce.
- Represent Vantor at industry events, briefings, and technical discussions with senior AI and product leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience selling complex data platforms, GIS, APIs, or AI/ML solutions into large enterprise technology organizations
- Geospatial or GIS Background
- Proven success managing and expanding global strategic accounts (preferably within Apple, Google Oracle, SAP, or similar tier)
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations
- Proven track record of closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or Engineering
- Strong understanding of enterprise AI, data infrastructure, and model training workflows
- Deep familiarity with the AI landscape, including LLMs, computer vision, and generative models
- Experience selling data solutions used in AI model training, simulation, or real-world validation
- Existing network within product management, research, or data science teams
- Familiarity with geospatial data (satellite, aerial, 3D) and its applications in AI, mapping, and extended reality

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.● The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.● The base pay for this position within Delaware is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually. ● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $179,000.00 - $299,000.00 annually.● The base pay for this position within California is: $188,000.00 - $275,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
