VP, Customer Success

Are you an AdTech/MarTech industry expert overseeing a high volume of clients with a track record of success helping those clients succeed? Are you a charismatic leader who loves building relationships with customers and working with new emerging technologies? Do you consider yourself a team-first player that understands the fun and stress of a company growing 100% year over year?

As VP, Customer Success you’ll be building relationships and cultivating deep connections to evangelize the SteelHouse business and product line. You will lead the client success team for enterprise accounts working hand in hand with our CRO and largest clients. 

You’re known to be a thoughtful, energetic and detail-oriented individual who can lead a team to ensure our enterprise clients succeed in their use of SteelHouse products. You will report to the CRO and be an integral part of the executive team. You’ll be leading all on-site meetings across the country. This is a travel heavy role. 

You will:

  • Build relationships with SteelHouse clients, especially key accounts
  • Lead all on-site initiatives with clients Nationwide - strategy and execution
  • Drive all budget initiatives with key accounts including product adoption and budget procurement
  • Cultivate relationships with C-level team-members of key accounts, as well as across the customers organization
  • Run point for escalated client situations
  • Participate in client calls as the VP, Client Success
  • Become the SteelHouse technical expert and industry expert
  • Communicate the needs, issues, feedback, etc. of our top clients to senior leadership
  • Provide customer feedback and needs to the product organization
  • Circulate feedback/business updates back to the Accounts team from Jedi (Leadership team)
  • Engage with sales leadership on messaging, client management and retention
  • Collaborate closely with Performance Leadership and make sure pods are working in harmony
  • Partner with the CRO on customer lifecycle, team processes, and hiring

You have:

  • Considerable industry and client experience in AdTech, MarTech
  • 5+ years of leadership experience as a Director or VP
  • Prior sales experience (you’re an expert at asking for an understanding budget allocation) 
  • Technical / product minded individual (as our company is lead by an engineer)
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret in-depth analyses, uncover actionable insight and effectively communicate to the broader organization
  • A strong understanding of display marketing technologies and their technical capabilities
  • Powerful mentality for problem-solving
  • Out of the box thinking
  • Experience working for consumer internet brands, advertising agencies and major B2C brands
  • A bachelor’s degree
