We’re looking for a Vendor Operations Manager to join Team Snapchat! You will manage the vendor and supplier relationships in the dynamic, global Snap content review ecosystem, leveraging and working with our partners and vendors around the world. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to globally align and ensure that our policies are being applied consistently throughout the world, to deliver a top-tier customer experience.What you’ll do:
Be the consultative expert on vendor enabled organizational design
Manage service delivery of globally outsourced operational workflows against quality and efficiency
Operate with a continuous improvement mindset; identify operational and workflow gaps both within and without your immediate scope and execute on solutions
Collaborate internally to develop and transition new workflows to external partners
Conduct new vendor research, RFIs, RFPs, and coordinate final vendor selection among stakeholders
Negotiate new vendor contracts in partnership with Legal and Procurement, ensuring Snap’s interests are protected, and setting appropriate precedents for new vendor partnerships
Manage our service agreements to ensure compliance on our quality, performance, and coverage targets through tools and processes you will help create
Hold our internal and external stakeholders accountable to adherence to Snap’s values around employee wellbeing
Strong effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to focus in thrive in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight
Able to travel 50%+ of the time based on business needs (pending the ability to travel safely)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years in managing customer service or content moderation operations in a global capacity
- 5+ years of leadership experience in managing international outsourcing operations at scale in domains such as customer service, compliance, risk management, process management, or operational excellence
- A doer; someone who will hit the ground running and is not afraid get in the weeds
- Proven track record of transforming operations to provide best-in-class customer experience through step-function innovation and continuous improvement
- A passion for Snapchat, customer experience, and creativity!
