To continue to drive commercial efforts, we are looking for an experienced business leader to own both the sales and partnership functions within Spring Labs. The right candidate for this role has extensive knowledge and is deeply connected within the financial services industry and able to hit the ground running both strategically and tactically in setting strategy, building go-to-market plans, and managing both the people and processes that drive revenue.
The right candidate is willing to be hands-on, especially while learning the technology and value propositions of our products at Spring Labs, and is comfortable working in the fast-paced environment of a high-growth startup. This candidate is able to effectively build relationships within the company, cross-functionally with executives and as an effective people manager that is able to set goals and maximize effectiveness of the sales and partnerships teams. She/he should also have an extensive network within financial services and be willing and able to grow this network as a market-facing representative of Spring Labs.
You will
- Own the strategic planning and execution against sales goals to own ultimate responsibility for revenue targets within the company
- Develop strategic partnerships within the industry to drive channel sales and create new ways that our data products and technology can be deployed
- Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales and leadership teams, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
- Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product, Compliance, Finance and Info. Sec. teams
- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
- Develop and lead a high performing sales team and continue to build out the internal partnerships function
- Actively surface insights/learnings from partners to the leadership and product team.
About you
- 10+ years of sales and/or business development experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience, building and driving high performing teamsExperience working in the financial services or fintech industry
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute on sales strategies
- Successful track record of developing and growing partnerships and/or customer relationships
- Strong track record of ownership and collaborating across teams to achieve impactful outcomes
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to represent Spring Labs professionally at all levels of an organization
