We're looking for a passionate and accomplished SVP of Sales to help take UpKeep to the next level!

To be successful in this role you must have experience as a:

Process Driven Sales Leader

  • Detail-oriented, process-driven leader who uses disciplined sales methodology, metrics-based management, and a regular cadence of inspection and support to manage the team.
  • Has built an efficient and scalable sales model based on widespread success across the sales organization.

Proven Inside Sales Leader

  • Successful track record acquiring new logos through inbound and outbound selling— handling marketing generated leads for lower-ASP and highly transactional sales.
  • Able to build a metrics-based, sustainable, winning culture for remote, phone-based, sales and account management teams through hands-on coaching and development.

Outbound Go-to-Market Expert

  • Must understand how sales, marketing, and BDRs all link to build a robust go-to-market engine.
  • Demonstrated experience building an outbound sales motion from scratch to complement the existing inbound motion.
  • Must be able to build the process, tools and then staff the organization to effectively grow revenue through outbound sales and expand upmarket.

Marketing Enablement & Alignment Partner

  • Must understand marketing as a key driver to success to build a highly productive volume based sales model. 
  • Has a track record of partnership with marketing arm-in-arm and understands at least the basics of demand generation.
  • Can partner with marketing to craft sales pitches and use cases that resonate with the target customer base

Land and Expand Expert

  • Demonstrated success driving significant expansion business within existing customer base.
  • Can understand customer use cases and pain points and leverages that to expand to new sites and teams.
  • Systematic Account Planning approach, with ability to articulate how to target expansion, and techniques for doing so— which should include strategy from early engagement through renewal in terms of customer success, account management, etc.

A big plus if you have experience:

  • At a founder run, high-growth SaaS firm. 
  • Building a sales team from roughly 30 to 100 people. 
  • Selling in a high-velocity SMB and mid-market environment.
  • Crafting both GTM and Marketing material as well as engaging in large deals.
  • Getting creative to develop new motions to expand the existing share of wallet.

The Company:

UpKeep was founded by our CEO, Ryan Chan, from an idea he had while working as a process engineer in a manufacturing plant. He believed a cloud-based, mobile-first software solution could drastically improve the workflow and productivity of maintenance teams, technicians, and facility managers. He was determined to build on this vision— so he learned how to code and created the first version of UpKeep in 2014.

Today, we’re simplifying and modernizing work orders for half a million people in over 50 countries. Our 80+ team members are focused on ensuring UpKeep is the smartest and easiest-to-use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software available. Location

We are a mostly remote team; however, our HQ is in Westwood Village near UCLA. Local employees love that we're surrounded by restaurants and stores.
