Whip Media is seeking a strategic and creative account manager to join our newest product, the Whip Media Exchange. Reporting to the VP Business Development Content Strategy, you will support the Exchange Sales team in driving high volume client adoption of the Whip Media Exchange and the Content Match licensing planning tool. You will manage multiple global clients’ needs and expectations while focusing on growing revenue and ensuring minimal client attrition in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment.    

You will bring your strong collaboration skills to manage global client relationships and be a trusted partner in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and success, as well as identifying opportunities for the introduction of other Whip Products and Services and coordinate with the Sales and AM teams to secure these additional Engagements.

What will you do?

  • Work with senior leadership to devise and execute on the overall strategy for retaining and growing Whip Media Exchange accounts
  • Develop trust-based relationships with key stakeholders within the Whip Media Exchange accounts to understand, identify and address all issues related to those accounts
  • Keep track of overall customer satisfaction and report customer knowledge to sales, product development and client engagement teams 
  • Define KPIs of success by customer and monitor progress in collaboration with the engagement team
  • Identify opportunities to upsell Whip Media Exchange accounts and to cross-sell other Whip Media products, in coordination with Whip Media’s sales teams
  • Solidify knowledge of different industry business functions related to content licensing including EST/TVOD/AVOD/SVOD, digital film, localization, windowing, distribution and global licensing related activities (up and downstream);

What do you need?

  • BS/BA required
  • Five plus years demonstrated revenue results as either an Account or Relationship Manager in either media/content distribution/licensing or a technical or e-commerce environment
  • Foundational knowledge of different industry business functions related to content licensing including EST/TVOD/AVOD/SVOD, digital film, localization, windowing, distribution and global licensing related activity.
  • Strong interest in the convergence of technology, data and entertainment
  • Critical thinking, sound judgement and strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with content planning tools including data and analytics
  • Proficiency and/or past experience with CRM (Salesforce.com, Cirrus), CMS and marketing platforms preferred
  • Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA a plus

We are always hiring in our Whip hubs of New York City, Los Angeles and London where we currently have corporate offices - but for specific roles where we are open to hiring remotely - we can hire in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas,  Washington, and Wisconsin.
