As a Solutions Engineer, you will partner with GoGuardian Sales and Customer Success and teams to develop value propositions for our GoGuardian Suite and conduct pre-sales presentations to GoGuardian’s most technically complex mid-market prospects. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of proposed solutions working in close partnership with the Implementation, Product Management, Engineering, Enablement, and Post-Sales Support and Customer Success teams. For this role, you will bring pre-sales experience with education technology selling within the K-12 part of education.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to identify and drive winning sales, cross-sells and expansion opportunities
- Partner with Implementation and Enablement teams to ensure pre-sales customer requirements are documented and enforced
- Maintain expert knowledge of GoGuardian Suite, deployment options, and varying client environments to recommend the best GoGuardian services, deployments and timelines for client
- Communicate GoGuardian’s value proposition to varying technical and non-technical clients, including executive ''C'' level management, VP, Director levels, and end-users
- Support on RFI / RFPs completion and setup/demos for tradeshows
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering by providing feedback from information gathered during pre-sales projects
Who You Are
- BS in EE/CS Degree/5-10 years of technical and customer-facing experience
- Foundation in Education Technology including deep understanding of Filtering a plus
- Technical/ field sales experience (sales eng or consulting experience preferred)
- Strong technical proficiency, ability to learn on the fly and train multiple stakeholders
- Humble team player with proactive mindset and ability produce positive outcomes in a dynamic environment
- Proven ability to adapt presentations to the technical level of the audience, and comfort with presenting technical materials to both small and large groups
