We match families with highly-vetted CareDrivers, who have a minimum of 5 years of childcare experience and must pass a mom-approved, rigorous 15-point certification process, which includes extensive background checks, fingerprinting, DMV checks, driver training, and meeting every single driver in person. 

We were founded by 3 working moms who have 8 kids among them and who developed HopSkipDrive as a solution to their own problems getting kids where they needed to go.  We are a VC-backed company with investment and involvement from nearly every major LA investor including Upfront Ventures, Greycroft and Pritzker, with more than $20M in funding.

The Senior Account Executive will drive towards a quarterly sales goal and own an individual goal and client list while building and managing his/her own business within the region, overseeing all contract executions with the help of internal support teams including Account Management, B2B Marketing, Driver Operations, Product, Finance, Customer and Live Support. The Senior Account Executive will need to be a dynamic individual with a passion for generating new business and hitting sales goals while properly developing client relationships with schools, non-profits and businesses. To succeed in the kid ride hailing space, the Senior Account Executive will need to display a number of strengths including access to key client decision-makers, consultative selling, meticulous planning, pipeline management and prospect list development.

Responsibilities 

Direct Sales, Sales Strategy and Management

  • Manage, grow, and maintain a client list that consistently attains quarterly revenue goals with a combination of new business and growing existing business the first year. 
  • Develop a sales strategy and business plan for an account list/territory for generating revenue through outreach to schools, non-profits and businesses.
  • Drive weekly pipeline development through qualified daily meetings in the field with key clients and decision makers.
  • Personally build and maintain deep relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and close strategic partnerships driven by any combination of HopSkipDrive products and services.

Pipeline and Transition

  • Provide real time sales revenue and pipeline reporting for a named list/territory and consistently forecast the revenue pacing via internal CRM tools & databases.
  • Work with internal stakeholders & support teams to successfully create, execute and review all potential clients.
  • Work with Senior Director of Partnerships to maintain and grow pipeline.
  • Once deal is completed, ensure there is a smooth transition account hand off with Account Management team. 

Qualifications

  • Skilled in sales and pipeline management, prospecting, closing and renewing client busines
  • Strong communication skills (e.g., presenting, meetings, speaking, building presentations, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years successful sales/BD experience, including a track record of outstanding results in attaining quarterly revenue goals
  • Experience successfully managing a sales territory, selling to K-12 schools preferred
  • Proven track record in developing revenue deals through direct communication with clients
  • Outstanding communications skills including demonstrated negotiation skills and exemplary consultative selling skills
  • Organized, proactive and results-oriented
