We won’t beat around the bush, at Hawke we don’t expect you to run - we expect you to soar. We’re looking for a self-starting, energetic individual to help scale our rapidly growing BDR team after a record shattering 2020. 

 

This role will report into our VP of Sales and be responsible for overseeing, mentoring and growing a team of 15+ BDRs by the end of Q1. They will be accountable for developing and executing lead generation strategies to schedule targeted number of appointments for our sales team, going above and beyond quota. Our BDR Manager should be passionate about coaching and developing sales professionals and have a knack for streamlining processes. Must be up to date with prospecting and cold outreach best practices in effort to educate the team.

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Ability to understand, synthesize, and pitch a general understanding of digital marketing services, specifically for Hawke’s services
  • Organize and conduct biweekly trainings and weekly one-on-one meetings with BDRs to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for the improvement of the team’s sales and activity performance
  • Create best practices and process/disciplines around cold calling, objection handling, qualifying meetings and overall foundational sales skills
  • FInd new and creative ways to push and motivate a team to hit goals 
  • Actively use Hubspot CRM to lead the sales process, reporting, dashboards and set standards for performance metrics
  • Provide our VP of Sales with daily BDR team reporting 
  • Collaborate cross functionally with our Marketing, Partnerships and Services teams to identify the best sources of leads
  • Actively use HubSpot CRM to lead the sales process, reporting, dashboards and set standards for performance metrics
  • Participate in the hiring, interviewing, and training process helping to scale a quickly growing team of BDRs

 

 

Skills & Experience: 

 

  • 3+ years of BDR/SDR experience in the B2B/SaaS industry with a consistent track record of exceeding targets as an individual contributor and leader
  • 1-2 years of management experience
  • Experience managing a geographically dispersed BDR team
  • High volume/high activity sales experience, preferably in a startup environment  
  • Demonstrated effective communication, business acumen, organizational, and time management skills
  • Robust reporting and analytics skills using HubSpot CRM, Apollo, Excel, and equivalent tools
  • Experience having created sales development processes including prospecting strategy, sales playbooks, and onboarding programs
  • Take a data-driven approach to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Foster a culture of high energy, ambition, and continuous improvement on the team
  • Intuition and capacity to learn quickly and hit the ground running
