Sales Operations Senior Associate, Business Intelligence
We’re looking for a Sales Operations Senior Associate (Business Intelligence) to join Team Snapchat. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will work closely with our partners in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Operations, and Engineering.
What you'll do:
Use data to prove a hypothesis, tell a story and persuade various stakeholders on a course of action
Design and build sales-centric business intelligence, reporting infrastructure, and visualizations
Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and effectively communicate findings to Advertiser Solutions, Snap leadership and cross-functional partners
Work with stakeholders at varying levels in the organization to understand problems and to identify root questions that are specific and solvable
Ensure a high-level of accuracy through consistent data quality monitoring, and flag data integrity issues to relevant owners of data
Encourage self-serve data discovery by developing a well-designed and intuitive-to-use BI suite
Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business, marketing, computer science, engineering or related discipline
4+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Science or Analytical role
Preferred qualifications:
Familiarity with programmatic advertising business models and key players
Ability to work independently and drive activities to completion through strong ownership and attention to detail in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Ability to proactively identify business challenges, propose diagnostic approaches and to follow through with analyses, insights and recommendations to decision makers
Demonstrated experience learning quickly and being intellectually curious
Experience building self service data infrastructure and nurturing a culture of data discovery
Proficiency working with one or more query/visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Alteryx, Salesforce Analytics)
Experience working with and up-skilling team members who are less BI / data proficient
Passion for data visualization and data user experience
Strong SQL skills including advanced query techniques
Previous experience working in a Sales Operations, Sales, Product Marketing, or a related field
Excellent interpersonal skills to partner with sales and cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and drive activities to completion through strong ownership
