Sales Operations Manager
SUMMARY
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for assisting Partner leadership in driving the Management Operating Rhythm for their team. They also assist with the day-to-day administration of operational tasks within the Sales Operations Department. This role is a new addition to partner operations, to enable continued revenue growth and increased sales productivity by providing effective methodologies, efficient processes, value added information and sales tools.
Roles and Responsibility (list in order of importance)
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators, and metrics.
- Assist with the on-boarding and training process of new Sales Representatives.
- Establish and maintain on-going and effective communication with field sales representatives and management.
- Manage and maintain sales data in SalesForce.com and other software programs.
- Partner with Leaders to create and maintain sales forecasting models and data.
- Recognize, develop, and implement process improvements within the Sales and partner organizations
- Assist the Sales Leaders with Pipeline and Opportunity inspection.
- Manage and maintain sales process adherence with Sales Representatives and Alliance Managers.
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Years of Experience in Related Field: 5-7
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with a variety of enterprise tools including Salesforce and PRM
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
- Proficient with SalesForce.com and Tableau reporting, dashboards, etc.
- Exceptional analytical skills & confident working with remote business teams
- Can easily learn new technologies and adapt to change
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
Other:
- Familiarity and experience working with IT teams to update, improve and streamline business processes; can easily translate business requirements to technical terms.
- Must be adaptable and be able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
- Self-motivated, critical thinker with prior cross-functional experience working with Sales, Legal, IT and Finance
- Ability to understand the strategic direction and goals of the Sales Department and support appropriate processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives.
- Positive team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional teams
- Must have well developed capabilities at problem solving and crafting efficient processes.
- Must be innovative and resourceful and optimize use of available resources. Able to develop new approaches for situations in which standard approaches do not apply.
