Role:

Our inside sales team is growing very fast and we have the need for Inside Sales Managers to lead and coach a team of 8-12 salespeople in our Culver City office. As Sales Manager you will elevate the entire team to new heights to achieve revenue targets every month. Your leadership and direction will create an environment that fosters continual learning and unparalleled motivation to exceed goal. You will be responsible for training, coaching and monitoring the performance of your team members to ensure sales activity and objectives are not only met, but exceeded. This individual will work closely with both the Senior Director of Sales and VP of Sales to identify opportunities and implement solutions across the sales floor.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with, and lead, your team to help them hit or exceed their/your monthly revenue target
  • Build and maintain an upbeat, positive culture that inspires a sense of urgency, constant innovation, teamwork, and strong commitment to individual and team accountability
  • Track and identify team and individual KPI’s and develop benchmarks for growth
  • Spend 40% of your time training and coaching your team to greatness - no desk jockeys
  • Participation and contribution to our recruiting and hiring processes to ensure we’re always adding new star talent to the SnackNation team
  • Weekly reporting on the progress of your team, keeping an open line of communication to the director of the department on your weekly initiatives
  • Weekly coaching sessions with team members to affect positive change and retain top performers
  • Embody a player coach mentality as-needed to actively participate in sales calls and gets deals over the line
  • Work closely with Sales Management peers within your department and across the company to ensure optimal efficiency between teams
  • Constantly review and refine sales processes to increase effectiveness of the team
  • Effectively lead teams through change while keeping up employee morale and company culture

Who You Are:

  • Mandatory 2+ years of experience Managing Inside Salespeople in a quota carrying, transactional environment
  • High need for achievement and competition. Loves to compete and win.
  • Strong leadership skills that leverage the strength of the team and the company to achieve success and execution.
  • Resourceful. Goes over, under, around and through obstacles to achieve success
  • Enthusiastic, optimistic, and certain of victory. Unfazed by rejection.
  • Skilled in all aspects of the sales cycle from open to close to objection handling
  • Experience in developing successful sales teams based on enthusiastic leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong exposure analyzing monthly and weekly sales trends based on reports, metrics, KPI's, and creating meaningful changes to affect positive results
  • Experience hiring and training new salespeople
  • Track record of leading by example, being a successful sales rep/individual contributor
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Experience working with and administering Salesforce.com
