Sourced Craft Cocktails Company Overview:

Any event, brand launch, networking opportunity, music festival all have one common theme. A person walks through the door and their first question is “where is the bar?” The bar is the central piece to every event and often overlooked or an afterthought.

At Sourced, we take a client’s reveal event, rebranding announcement, holiday party – the moments that matter most, and make it a memory by crafting cocktail experiences that tell their unique story. We customize the cocktail menu with top mixologists, sourcing everything, and delivering it to their doorstep to make their event one they won’t soon forget.

With over 70% growth in 2018, we’re expanding our Enterprise Sales Team to better serve existing clients, respond faster to organic leads, and develop and nurture new client relationships. We are looking for a Sales Leader in the Los Angeles area that shares our enthusiasm for: a) being of service to others in making their lives and businesses more fun, interactive, educational and successful; and b) doing it at time periods (i.e. their brand launch!) that actually matter.

Job Title: Southern California Sales Leader

Start Date: Immediately

Core Responsibility:

Build sales volume for our Enterprise B2B channel by selling cocktail experiences into Corporate Clients and Office Buildings primarily for the following industries:

  • Tech Companies: Our “sweet spot” in the first 4 markets (Austin, Dallas, Houston, and LA) and we have great case studies with WeWork, FaceBook, and Uber (to name a few) to on board new tech companies. You will take over our current LA relationships while building new ones in this space.
  • VC & Financial Services Companies: A huge marketplace that hosts a lot of networking and internal events, Financial Sector is a subchannel we believe we can expand rapidly.
  • Entertainment & Arts: Given the amount of creative industries in the LA market, we are excited to go after these enterprise opportunities.
  • Co-Working Spaces: WeWork is our biggest client and you’ll take over that relationship in LA. Combined, they have 19 locations. There are a number of other co working spaces (i.e. Gallvanize) that we are not doing business with but want you to help us develop relationships with based on our success in the category.
  • Real Estate: We have a number of commercial and residential relationships that you’ll take over but we’re just scratching the surface.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle – Creating your own prospecting lists and outreach, handling inbound leads from marketing, pitching over the phone and setting up in person demo pitches, creating and presenting event wrap reports to clients to demonstrate the success and discuss further opportunities.

  • Hit quarterly sales goals and keep VP of Sales up to date on truthful pipeline forecasting.

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline within our CRM, to report on the number of sales calls, response rate, bids submitted, close rates and renewals.

  • Work with Sourced Team members to develop solutions with Sourced Craft Cocktails products to solve client challenges.

  • Physically be present for the first 30 minutes of first client event to manage relationships/deliverables.

  • Monitor competitor activity, market conditions, and product development.

Job Requirements:

  • College graduate (preferably with either Sales experience or at least having studied or worked in the sales and/or events field).

  • Existing relationships with Event Planning, Office Managers, Experiential Marketing industries.

  • Flexible work schedule.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (some manual labor will be required when executing events).

  • Ability to communicate, have fun with co-workers, and lead other employees and partners.

  • Experience in the service industry, particularly in bartending, is a plus.

  • ABC Certification is a plus– Sourced will reimburse for the time and course fee if you aren’t already certified.

  • Located in Los Angeles.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • OTE including Base, Commission, and Bonuses combined can be $115,000+ (uncapped)

Other Important Things:

  • We operate under an employee handbook called the “ 3 Ts”: Trust, Transparency, and Tenacity...that is who we are and how we ACT...and we’ll expect the same of you. We don’t do drama. We don’t do office politics. We simply don’t have time for it.

  • We don’t have a “normal” work schedule – there will be all day events or late night events on average 3x per week. Because our customer dictates our schedule, we are super flexible with work hours. However, we will need employees to be super flexible, as well.

  • For major events, such as large music festivals, travel will be required and entertainment of your clients will be an opportunity you should relish.

  • We will require you to sign and adhere to a policy on the consumption of alcoholic beverages while on the job, which in short states, that we are not at the brand event as guests. We’re there to be of service to our clients and their guests and as such we do NOT drink or use drugs while on the job.
