TITLE: Sales Enablement & Training Manager
REPORTS TO: VP, Sales Operations
The Sales Enablement & Training Manager collaborates with solution owners, product marketing, domain experts and marketing teams on short and long-term sales enablement strategy. Develops and delivers in-depth sales training, provides subject matter expertise, and provides support for marketing campaigns to maximize the sales team’s ability to sell new and existing solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with solutions owners, marketing and sales teams to identify sales training needs based on go-to-market plans, and sales forecasts and results.
- Define competency models for each customer facing role to be leveraged in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development programs.
- Work with sales leadership to define hiring profile for all customer facing reps. Build interview guides and scorecards inclusive of demonstrative interviewing for key selling skills and train first line managers on effective interviewing
- Define, develop and deliver onboarding program that reduces the ramp to revenue for new hires.
- Define standards for ongoing training that includes: knowledge transfer, practice sessions and post training field coaching to ensure inculcation of new skills, knowledge and process expertise.

- Design and deliver solution-based and broad-based sales training workshops and events
- Partner with sales management to identify opportunities and gaps in individual outcomes; develops resources and individual coaching plans, and provides support to sales management and sellers
- Conduct broad-based and product specific sales training for existing sales team and new hires via in-person, virtual and self-paced delivery
- Collaborate with sales effectiveness teammates on new approaches and techniques in sales training and adult learning theory
- Represent sales operations on multiple cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Conduct sales analysis and reporting utilizing the CRM system.
- Compile data for Sales KPI’s.
What you bring to the table:
- Ability to identify sales training needs to develop and deliver both targeted and broad-based sales training content to existing and new sellers
- Ability to synthesize and analyze data and provide insights to internal partners regarding gaps and opportunities, and translate to actionable sales training needs and outcomes
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to build trusted partner relationships with solution owners, marketing teams, sales managers
- Strong understanding of the dynamics and customer expectations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years sales training experience
- Sales training experience in a SaaS environment preferred
- Experience with Excel and CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
