The Opportunity:

In this role, you will spend each day qualifying and setting meetings for our sales team while learning the skills necessary to be a successful Account Executive. You’ll have the opportunity to go from "How does this work?" to "Let me help you!" by following our senior A.E. By setting quality meetings with prospective clients and working with our marketing department on special projects, you'll play an integral role in building our sales pipeline and our business!

What we're looking for:

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious individual with a desire to join a rapidly growing company. Shippabo is an early stage startup. If you're smart, persistent, and a great teammate, we want to hear from you!

The position is an entry level Sales role, is full-time and is based in our office in Downtown Los Angeles.

What you'll be doing:

  • Be the first impression officer of the sales team. Highly visible position that will help support the sales organization by developing qualified leads that generates sales pipeline
  • Be the expert in the Shippabo product, helping to showcase how it helps Logistics leaders 
  • Nurture sales inquiries and identify opportunities that meet the minimum qualification criteria for sales through active conversation with decision makers to understand logistics operation habits and identify opportunities for software adoption
  • Achieve, and exceed, weekly/monthly pipeline metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)
  • Set up qualified meetings for the enterprise sales team 
  • Conduct lead follow up activity based on marketing events and website inquiries

Who we'd love on our team:

  • College Degree or equivalent 
  • 2+ years demand generation or inside sales experience, preferably with a B2B technology or logistics/supply chain
  • Tenacious and competitive in hitting and beating targets
  • A go-getter! “No” is not a No - it only makes you think of other ways to go for the “Yes”
  • Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria by rapporting with contacts through phone calls and emails in an effort to understand where the prospect is in the buying cycle 
  • Phenomenal listener and effective in writing Call-To-Action interest generating emails
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to learn key Shippabo and CRM software applications
