About the Sales Development Manager at Headspace:

We are looking for a strategic Sales Development leader to help build and scale a world-class Sales Development Team to drive Headspace’s Workplace Wellness growth. We are striving to spread our mission of improving the health and happiness of the world by partnering with corporations big and small to bring the Headspace mindfulness training platform as a benefit for their employees. Reporting into our VP, Enterprise Sales, you’ll be an integral part of our Sales leadership, providing continuous and constructive mentorship and working to enhance the team’s efforts by improving the sales process. 

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:

  • Responsible for day-to-day team operations and establishing a focus on metrics
  • Continue to build and strengthen the SDR team through recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and career development strategies
  • Track and report on SDR team activity and performance metrics
  • Establish strong relationships with the entire enterprise sales team to create positive working relationships
  • Maximize the effectiveness of sales development and ensure pipeline expectations are met
  • Remove roadblocks to SDR success
  • Develop and refine best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for SDR sales process improvement

What you’ve accomplished:

  • 3 years of experience as an SDR manager, preferably in SaaS
  • 5 years of experience in sales
  • Proven ability to grow a high performing team by recruiting and developing SDRs
  • Metrics driven, with a history of performing above team quota
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Strong Salesforce skills
  • Passionate about training and developing a team
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to sell to decision-making levels
  • Consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions

We're located in the heart of Santa Monica on Michigan + Cloverfield, just off the 10 freeway. Bergamont train station is right behind our office.
