Dave is looking for a Partnerships Development Associate to join the Partnerships Team and help execute the strategy, development, and relationship management of partners in order to add member value and increase revenue.

The Dave Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for the strategic vision, acquisition, and development of like-minded partners across all industries. Given the reach of Dave, this role is a critical piece of its growth and success as a business in the fintech industry. As a Partnership Development Associate, you will deliver and support an operational game plan for our top strategic partners as well as work cross functionally with marketing, engineering, and product to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboard, launch, and manage partnerships, identifying opportunities to grow and scale each partnership relationship to help drive Dave’s commercial success
  • Collaborate with the partnerships team and CEO to work on special projects and identify new revenue streams for the business
  • Drive the full partner cycle through making/sending introductory calls and emails, assessing and building the relationship
  • Customize partnership proposals according to the needs and interests of both Dave and the potential partner
  • Foster referenceable clients who are openly willing to speak about and market their positive experience with Dave
  • Develop creative, fun, and innovative ways in which you connect and build out your relationships with potential partners
  • Achieve and exceed monthly target goals
  • Drive adoption of new Dave products among your studio partners (Side Hustle, Bank Product)

Experience Required

  • 2-5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, technology sales or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus
  • A team player and comfortable with an ever-changing startup environment
  • Mastery in negotiation conversations
  • Able to craft compelling, relevant, and objective-oriented storylines in talking points and presentations
  • Knowledgeable in small business operations and financial opportunities with a willingness to learn
  • Strong project management skills and ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
