Role Overview:

We are looking for an outbound-focused Partner Business Development Representative to help us meet our long-term partnership goals. This person will act as the liaison between our Partnership and Sales teams, contact referral and agency partner prospects to recruit them to join EZ Texting’s partnership programs, and qualify referral partner sales leads as potential opportunities for our Sales team. 

About You:

You have previous experience with outbound calls, developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting quotas. You have great communication skills, and know how to cultivate strong relationships with prospects via traditional (phone and email) and new (texting) channels.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit referral and agency partner prospects to join EZ Texting’s partnership programs
• Qualify leads from partner referrals as sales opportunities
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through cold calls and emails
• Present and pitch our company convincingly to potential partners and clients
• Identify partner and client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Customize recommendations to increase customer satisfaction
• Build long-term trusting relationships with partners
• Set up qualified meetings between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
• Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
• Track record of achieving quotas
• Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), SalesLoft is a plus
• Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Ability to deliver engaging presentations
• Marketing Agency experience is a plus
• Constant desire to find ways to support both our potential customers, and EZ Texting
