We are looking for an Orientation Specialist to join our Talent Activation and Growth Department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating logistics, problem-solving, and executing Procore’s global, virtual new hire orientation program. Your goal is to create an unforgettable first impression for our new employees’ first week with Procore.

As an Orientation Specialist, you’re organized, proactive, resourceful, and able to multitask and prioritize a wide range of responsibilities in a changing environment. You’ll influence and shape Procore’s onboarding experience by collaborating with stakeholders, new hires, and vendors to create an experience that helps further our vision to build connection, clarity, and confidence that drives success for new hires, managers, and their teams. Successful candidates are passionate about being a catalyst for Procore’s community and culture. 

This position will report to and can be delivered remotely from a US or Canada location in the pacific timezone. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Employee Experience and Learning and Development teams to develop Procore’s virtual orientation strategy, curriculum, and approach for projects and initiatives
  • Oversee the coordination and execution of a bi-monthly virtual new hire orientation program
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal teams and new hires, ensuring the white glove  communication of information  
  • Manage course schedules for multiple facilitators, programs, and timezones
  • Ensure that important event logistic details are planned and executed
  • Create or edit course materials such as slides, handouts, workbooks, program collateral, etc
  • Maintain inventory of orientation program materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Keep proper records of relevant orientation data such as attendance, assessment evaluations, and feedback surveys

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of classroom teaching, program coordination, or logistics experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Experience teaching in a virtual classroom
  • Excellent communication skills via email, phone, online, and in-person
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong decision-making abilities
  • Professional experience using the G Suite (Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) 
  • Comfortable acting as administrator to learning and people management systems like Workday, including entering data, completing reporting and interpreting data 
  • Strong ability to collaborate, share, drive best practices
  • Ability to stay energized in an entirely virtual environment (~35 hours of Zoom meetings)
  • Customer service attitude - must be able to interface with entry-level associates to executive leadership 
  • Teaching Credential is a plus
  • Orientation or onboarding experience at university/college is a plus
  • Onboarding software experience a plus
