Golden Hippo is currently looking for a National Accounts Director for our beauty brands. This role will be responsible for creating and growing a profitable, mutual business partnership with large retailers in the beauty space through all of Golden Hippo’s beauty brands.

WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE
- Working on placement of Golden Hippo beauty brands with national retailers
- Overall management and point of contact for the Golden Hippo retailer partner relationship (develop close and trusting relationships with retailer decision makers)
- Business plan development and execution to achieve goals and vendor scorecard objectives with assigned retailer(s)
- Understand all aspects of retailer strategy and operations to enhance relationship and identify and execute against growth opportunities
- Work with internal brand managers, product development, supply chain team and others to facilitate partnership growth in alignment with Golden Hippo strategies and objectives
- Ensure flawless execution at retail by working with retail field management, Store Managers and other partners
- Gain a thorough understanding of all of Golden Hippos beauty brands and stay on top of industry trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with key people throughout the beauty industry
- Travel required up to 35%
BEST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Business degree or similar education in related field.
- 7+ years experience selling to retailers and/or working with retailers in a related industry and 5+ years working with, and selling to, regional or national beauty retailers
- 7+ years experience within the beauty industry
- National beauty account experience (ie. Sephora or Ulta) and experience working for a beauty retailer is preferred
- Thorough understanding of the beauty industry and how beauty retailers work
- Knowledge of sales, operations and account management as it pertains to the retail channel
- Ability to work with many different personality types and levels within retailer organizations
- Ability to collaboratively work across Golden Hippo to achieve common goals and internal alignment
- Curiosity to continue to grow and learn and uncover new opportunities
- Think strategically across brands and channels
- Detail orientation and great follow through
- Ability to truly listen to customers
- Strong leadership skills, preferably previous experience with managing and leading teams
