Lead, Strategic Partner Management
We’re looking for a Lead, Partnerships to join Snap! As a member of the Content Business and Operations team, working from our Santa Monica office, you will drive decisions while working across internal and external teams. Internal teams include Strategic Partner Management, Business Affairs, Product, Editorial, Sales and others. The role comes with significant autonomy and requires a self-motivated individual with excellent writing, communication and project management skills.
Snapchat’s content partners play an important role in entertaining and informing our global users. As these partners grow and develop so do their needs. We are looking for an individual who can guide partners in their success while also establishing best in class operations for partner communication. The successful candidate must have a passion for Snapchat, our users and Content.
What you'll do:
Be the face of Snap to strategic partners, demonstrating knowledge and expertise across all facets of partnership
Advise partners, helping them to create best-in-class content experiences
Develop partnership business plans that create value
Manage relationships with senior partner stakeholders
Act as a POC for day-to-day partner leads
Understand partners’ priorities and advocate internally on their behalf
Collaborate cross-functionally within Snap to drive partner success
Work closely with product to ensure partner input is accounted for with applicable product decisions
Drive partner product adoption by introducing winning value propositions for new features and products to partners
Track and analyze platform and partner health metrics, driving positive ROI
Conduct business reviews with partners
Optimize process and always look for ways to work smarter
Maintain healthy partner relationships
Produce world-class creative presentations and go to market collateral that improves the experience partners have on and with the platform
Manage Partner Hub, Snap’s central repository for all partner materials and collateral
Be a thought leader using feedback from internal and external teams to develop and launch new initiatives and help drive incremental value for partners
Contribute to our content development and storytelling efforts (i.e. partner summits, partner hub, product newsletter, partner blog, and case studies)
Be a cross-functional leader, collaborating with internal teams including Strategic Partner Management, Business Affairs, Product, Editorial, Sales and others
Collaborate with key cross-functional teams and senior leaders often, influencing change, and prioritizing needs in order to meet the needs of partners and deliver value
Project manage multiple cross-functional initiatives and setting and keeping others accountable to deadlines
Work closely with legal to ensure all external materials are within policy
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 6+ years experience in account management / business development at a technology, content or media business or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of the content landscape
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Team player, experienced at improving workflows and optimization
Strategic thinker, problem solver, and self-starter that thrives in fast-moving environments
Experience in developing high quality creative presentations and collateral
Project management excellence including a proven track record of driving projects to completion
Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships with senior level executives
Understanding of the digital media and advertising landscape
