Heartbeat Self-Serve Influencer Marketing Platform - Client Services and Campaign Operations Associate

What is the opportunity?

You’ll join our new Self-Serve team, and be an instrumental part of the group’s development and growth. Think: the Facebook ad platform for nano-influencer marketing. You’ll learn Client Services (Account Management) from our team of pros, and you’ll be on track to be a Client Success Manager within six months.

Your job will be to onboard clients onto Heartbeat's platform, help with marketing campaign setup, and run customer support for our self-serve product clients. You will be rewarded based on up-selling and client retention, but your main daily focus will be on keeping our brand customers happy. You're the type of person who will go above and beyond, because you genuinely care about your clients.

Compensation

This role entails an base salary, plus bonuses based on your ability to retain clients. You’ll also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as the other office perks! We have everything from beach meditation sessions to themed happy hours, and our team is our best asset. Additionally, as Heartbeat is still a small company, you will have various opportunities for career growth as you continue to succeed at Heartbeat.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the Heartbeat platform inside and out, and become a product expert
  • Work with the sales team to transition clients and onboard them onto the platform
  • Stay in constant contact with clients, be immediately responsive to their needs
  • Update clients on new product features rollouts, keep them excited about using the tools
  • Assist the Product Management team by providing insights into what tools clients are looking for next
  • Fill the gap - just because it's not in your job description, doesn't mean you won't be asked to do it. Have an open mind and be willing to help the startup grow!

What Qualities Are We Looking For?

You are:

  • Curious and excited to learn.
  • Approachable, level-headed, and positive. You enjoy talking to people, and upset clients don't get under your skin. You're motivated by helping people and finding solutions, and you don't get easily flustered. 
  • Highly organized. You’re not afraid to track things in Google Sheets or HubSpot. You aren’t mad about updating trackers daily because you like to stay on top of things. You can anticipate client concerns before they even happen.
  • Someone who keeps your word, shows up on time. You’re ethical and you’re honest.
  • Open to constructive feedback, and you don’t have a “know-it-all” attitude
  • Not afraid to ask questions, or bring new ideas to the table. 
  • Excited about learning about startups and wants to learn the bigger picture of growing a business. You're open to contributing to other parts of the organization when needed.
  • A college graduate, with strong written and verbal skills (double-check your resume and cover letter for grammar, formatting, and spelling, please!)
