Market Development Representative
The Market Development Representative will be joining a growing sales team to help our VC-backed technology startup obtain new clients for our SaaS accounting solution. We are looking for motivated individuals who are determined to succeed and are driven by team wins and sales commissions. Our solution is targeted at those responsible for the finance and accounting functions within organizations of all types and sizes. We call on folks with titles such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Controller, Corporate Controller, VP -Finance, Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Senior Accountant, etc.
Responsibilities Include:
Engage with prospects that come to our website, download content, respond to email campaigns, and attend webinars & live conferences
Qualify sales leads by conducting discovery calls with prospects and conveying the value of FloQast
Convert qualified inquiries into opportunities and set meetings for Account Executives
Become an expert at using Salesforce and Outreach.io to organize and maximize prospecting efforts into target accounts
Build complete account profiles in Salesforce to ensure efficient account and activity management
Determine which sequences to place prospect inquiries in and follow up accordingly
Connect with target prospects using industry best practices across email, phone, and social channels
Be an expert on our product and be able to passionately explain how FloQast can make an impact on our customers’ businesses
Exceed monthly and quarterly goals for conversion rate and new opportunities created
