FabFitFun is a fast-growing and innovative lifestyle subscription brand seeking an experienced Manager of Global Sourcing to join the team at our Los Angeles HQ. This newly created role is responsible for building and leading a team responsible for sourcing, vendor management, and creating sustainable processes to manage production and delivery throughout a global supply chain. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, is motivated to do what it takes to get the job done, has a sense of urgency and a positive attitude.

What you’ll do:

• Recruit, motivate, develop, and lead a team of high performing sourcing professionals both in the US and overseas
• Develop sourcing strategy to support management of a world class supply chain
• Build and leverage strong working relationships with suppliers and factories to assure cost, quality and delivery targets are met
• Nurture partnerships with Account Management and Product Development from product curation through delivery
• Conduct market intelligence research by interacting with key factories, suppliers, industry associations, and internal stakeholders to collect relevant information to assess current and future impact on product and market trends.
• Be the in house expert on manufacturing techniques and provide alternate production and material options to mitigate costs and production risks

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing or supply chain management with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development with a minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership/managerial capacity
• Demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural environment
• High degree of emotional intelligence and empathy; able to build relationships with different cultures from around the world
• Ability to create strategic plans and execute them
• Bi-lingual (Chinese is a plus)
• Flexibility to travel is a must
