As the Global Mobility Manager, you will establish and oversee innovative and scalable global mobility strategies that will align with and deliver on Procore’s company-wide goals for international growth in multiple locations. You will assist in implementing plans that will help Procore to attract and retain the best talent in the industry worldwide. You'll work to maintain sustainable business practices to ensure thoughtful and efficient execution of both big-picture initiatives and day-to-day operations that will establish Procore as the worldwide employer of choice in all of our markets.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement the strategic initiatives and goals for the Global Mobility function for Procore
  • Evaluate current policies and practices and benchmark against industry standards and best practices in order to stay current and competitive with evolving trends in the areas of taxation, legislation, and social landscape as well as aligned with Procore’s goal of providing a world-class experience for all employees.
  • Oversee the management, strategy, and day to day operations of relationships with external vendors and business partners to ensure continuous delivery of the highest quality service, benefits, and employee experience while also maintaining efficient costs and business practices.
  • Work closely with teams in the People Department and relevant business units to seek direction and collaboration on crucial matters such as immigration, expat relocation, and taxes.
  • Guide key stakeholders throughout the process of identifying and executing the best paths for appropriate transfers/relocations or immigration process in order to meet the needs of the business in a timely manner.
  • Support employees, managers, and members of the People, Finance, and Legal teams in all areas related to Global Mobility.
  • Drive and innovate management resources and practices for mobile and dispersed teams.
  • Develop and manage global immigration policy and processes for all of Procore’s locations worldwide.
  • Establish and maintain consistent governance of mobility programs in all locations.
  • Maintain compliance with global regulations and requirements.
  • Foster strong partnerships and trustworthy working relationships with key stakeholders to effectively collaborate on complex and crucial issues related to global mobility, communications, and escalations.
  • Be accessible to employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of training for managers, People Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition teams around relevant relocation, immigration, and employee relations strategies and processes.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience serving in a Global Mobility or Global Mobility Consultant function
  • Proven knowledge of emerging global markets, trends, and a depth of understanding for applying cutting-edge practices to the context of culture.
  • Previous experience working in a software/tech or fast-paced, global company
  • Firm grasp of the global mobility landscape and a drive for continuous learning
  • Understanding of how to take regional and cultural differences into account with regards to international approach and strategy
  • Ability to be strategic as well as operational.
  •  Demonstrated experience in negotiation and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional discretion and judgment
  • Highly skilled in dealing with a high level of ambiguity and the pressure to deliver on time-sensitive and urgent matters.
  • Experience using Workday as an HRIS a plus
  • Proficiency in iOS/Google products is preferred
