We are looking for a high-performing Director of Sales Operations to join our team. The successful candidate will help meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives by developing key strategic initiatives across the entire sales organization. Director of Sales Operations responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and business verticals
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned markets and key accounts
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our position with assigned markets
- Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective customers
- Analyzing opportunities by researching the industry and market trends
- Working with senior management to establish sales goals and increase market share & revenue
- Collaborate with senior management and assigned team members to build out a sales team specifically targeting your assigned market
- Working with our marketing team to construct marketing material and presentation collateral
- Sales & financial reporting, forecasting, modeling, and KPI management
- Contract management and approval
- Quote oversight, approval process
- Performance & quota tracking, pipeline management
- Key account oversight, Major Account strategic management
- Recruiting, onboarding, ongoing training, weekly team meetings
- Semi-annual and annual sales conferences coordination and management
- Product alignment, GTM ownership, training and oversight of the sales organization
- Key account escalations and resolution planning, communication ownership
- Partnership alignment and strategic outreach programs, referral partner management
- Upsell strategy and management
- Salesforce management and working with executive level managers
- Marketing alignment, sales content, ROI, TCO, case studies
- Sales presentation deck, demo agendas, custom decks and presentation ownership
Requirements:
- Proven sales operations experience, including meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience using Salesforce or sales CRM
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Ability to travel up to 50%
