Director, Corporate Development
As the Director of Corporate Development, you will lead the assessment, sourcing and execution of mergers & acquisitions at ServiceTitan.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Operations, this role will oversee Corporate Development at ServiceTitan and work closely alongside the New Markets team.
As our Director, Corporate Development you will:
- Lead the entire M&A cycle from sourcing, to underwriting, to investment memo, to post deal team formation. Lead implementation / execution on a case-by-case basis.
- Be accountable for understanding the entire universe of potential M&A opportunities for ServiceTitan.
- Deliver well communicated, balanced, and comprehensive analyses for each stage of merger and acquisition transactions for leadership, the Board, and any other key stakeholders.
- Perform routine market research and monitor trends in the industry to identify potential acquisition opportunities and build and maintain a robust pipeline.
- Support and drive initiatives that may be identified by leadership or the Board based on industry trends that may have an impact to the business or present an opportunity
- Build deal models that represent the impact to our business, the drivers of valuation, and incorporate sources & uses of capital.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional due diligence teams internally and externally to support any deals as needed
- Track and summarize diligence issues and drive to resolution
- Liaise with Legal and Finance to coordinate drafting and negotiation of contracts
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 4+ years of combined banking and/or buy-side experience OR 5+ years of total experience with some corporate development experience at an operating company
- In-depth operational and valuation financial modeling experience and an ability to generate new business
- Experience making effective decisions through the analysis of information and proficient deal analysis, negotiation and execution
- Experience sourcing net new deals and developing relationships with founders or sponsors to help differentiate yourself in a competitive process
- Bachelor's Degree required
